The Company
The Forestree Company has been performing quality tree work in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 25 years. Forestree was founded by University of California at Berkeley Forestry School alumni, and has been a pioneering company in the use of the latest scientific information in its application to residential and commercial tree care. A Certified Arborist since 1996, Mark Dills has assembled a professional staff of tree workers who provide appropriate and considerate arboricultural services to the individual tree owner.
Communication between the client and the Arborist and the other tree workers is essential, we believe, to providing a quality service at a reasonable cost. A Certified Arborist, who will also be present when the work is being performed, provides estimates and consultations. The Arborist works with the client and neighbors to discuss areas of common interest and to resolve any conflicts and misapprehensions that may exist.

Standards
All work is done to International Society of Arboriculture standards. Safe working practices conform to American National Standards Institute guidelines for tree care operations. The appropriate tools and procedures are always employed. Trees are pruned only at the correct time of year for each species. And finally, the crew leaves a clean and tidy worksite so that the tree can be enjoyed without distraction.
Owner
Mark Dills has been a Certified Arborist since 1996. Born in Macomb, Illinois, he graduated From the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1985 with a BA in Art History. He attended San Francisco State University and Merritt College taking classes in Horticulture. With the company since 1993, Mark is also an accomplished potter and gardener.
